Lyrics

Caturday (partial capo on 3rd fret 65432; partial capo on 5th 432)

G13 F13 C
The coffee is warm. Sunlight peeks through my window.
I should really get out of bed, but I have to stay.
‘Cause there’s a little guy fast asleep in my lap.
But that’s alright, ‘cause it’s Caturday.

Refrain
Gmaj7 Cmaj7 C
There’ll be plenty of mornings for rushing around,
Going crazy, running late.
Gmaj7 Cmaj7 Gmaj7 Cmaj7
Right now my world is warm. And I’ll sip it slow
Gmaj7 Cmaj7 C
And enjoy one more Caturday.

Well it’s lunchtime and I’m still in my robe.
Nowhere I have to be, just puttering around.
We might lie down on the floor by that big sunspot,
Or watch the birds through the window hopping on the ground.

Refrain

Now I’m cooking from scratch. I’m never lonely.
That is unless I’m cooking vegetarian.
My furry friend is singing lest it slip my mind
To put a morsel down for him again.

Refrain
