Lyrics

Crazy Good

D G
Al Bossert lived north of town. He’d pick our girls up with one arm.
G D A
Our fresh milk and a side of beef came from his little farm.
He put love and sweat into his spread, not a toxic chemical stew.
These small farms are coming back. They’re better for me and you.

Chorus
G D A D
Crazy good, crazy good, people think I’m crazy.
Crazy good, crazy good, but they can’t stop eating my gravy.

When Paul told me about plant-based, I admit I scratched my head.
Fruit and salad and broccoli would never keep me fed.
But with beans & peas & nuts & seeds, brown rice and stone-ground wheat,
My body was running like a young man, and the taste just can’t be beet.
Chorus

Look I’m not saying be a vegan or a veterinarian.
I go out with the gang for BBQ. I’m a flexitarian.
My InstaPot and bread machine are smelling really great.
I never guessed I could tread lighter on the Earth by changing what I ate.
Chorus

Now factory food is just no good for your body or the Earth.
My grocery bill is smaller, and so is my girth.
I’ll be eating plant-based until I die, or they turn me into a cyborg.
You can find a delicious solution at CarbonFootprintEating.org.
Chorus
Crazy good, crazy good, come over for something tasty.
